I like this. I think when we pause to listen to another, if we truly listen, we hear unspoken words. The unspoken blend all of the spoken words with the facial expressions, the posture, the sighs, the laughs, and the tears to see into each other's world. In that seeing, we relate our own brokenness and triumphs and are able to vocalize the words that we are all desperate to hear, "you are not alone". Once we listen well, then we can speak well.
